So. The other day I was feeling really bored and got tired of refreshing the page over and over again, waiting for the new episodes of vd2, GG, nkita, himym, and glee. Yes I spend my time watching all of that. Mind you it was in the wee hours of the morning and there was just. Nothing else better to do. And... I watched Harry potter.

Then the next day i told my workmates that I watched Harry potter and got freaked out. And she immediately asked "which one?" and I said " the hairy prince"

HAHAHAHA.

I didn't even mean to. It just came out. Haha I laughed at myself so hard.

Its hard to decide which channel to post my thoughts these days.
Between twitter, fb and blogging. its like i wanna post the same "what are you thinking/doing" status update on every of those. but that'd be stupid or lame and i just cant be bothered.

if i had to choose, i would pick blogging but thats so hard when even your dumb GPS doesnt connect you to safari. Twitter is just easy like that you know. I like it fast and easy. Haha (I like it on my iphone) zomg total joke i.e breast cancer awareness.



I always thought that i'd be a wedding girl. total dream fantasy stuff. picked the place and the dress in my head. but i kinda have wedding fears like BEING the runaway bride or having a runaway groom.

Not sure how i feel about Taylor Momsen. I love her entire attitude and style. but then again, she has people to do that for her so. might not be her. still love that style though.

ramblings of the AM

i often find myself forgetting things the moment i think about them.
Its like waking up in the middle of the night and having a strange yet totally awesome poetic madness in your head. and you want to write it down. but you cant move. you cant pick up a pen and explain what's going on in your head. cause its like the moment the wave crashes upon the shore, you forget every inspiring thing that you thought. And get back to reality.

I guess what im trying to say is that im forgetful. or not. And i feel like i might one day like to take a drug to find out. not a medicine-get-well kinda drug. Heroine or some of that. I wonder why its so bad if it has a hero in its name. Or.... i could just not eat and not sleep. and see how far i  can get with that. writing. i mean.

PS- I hate it when/if people call me friend. not a friend. Friend. with a capital F.

St Regis Family Day

I remember the last time i blogged about an activity/outing/excursion/ something i did with my friends. it was my bday. but straying away now. St regis family day! 5 aug'10.

they had this clown show. with a v annoying clown. the poor boy kept making faces like, this is so lame. HAHA

halfway through they decided they wanted to get some exercise so we took the 3km walk to rent-a-bike =..=

not v healthy for me cause i was wearing a v ugly shirt hence i had to put on a jacket when it was SUNNY

So i expected something else like an unorganised someone trying to barbeque in a really dirty and small pit along the central? of eastcoast where all the kids are. BUT it was really quite nice. like we were located in an q beautiful place the side nearer to the Changi airport where you could see the palm/coconut trees you'd see if you drove to Changi, hence the 3km walk. And there were tents set up for people to put their bags and wonderful coloured mats for us to sit on. there was too HUGE food counters. One with catered food. which i think is a good idea even though they said BBQ cause its so hard and take a really long time to BBQ even a frickin chicken wing. And the other counter was an actually BBQ with wings and otah and everything alr barbequed and you could just bbq them again to make it hot. (honestly i thought this was a greeeaaat idea, took all the fun out but i didnt want to do the work hehe) and there was a cotton candy machine you could DYI and icecream. Even the drinks counter was pretty awesome. Like they provided coke in bottles and cups with ice. and mini fruit juice bottles and tigerbeer!! HAHA who on earth provides tiger beer. its cool! And we had goodiebags. and games.

SUMO. HAHA.

I honestly think St Regis Singapore is like a nice hotel. its NEW and the Excos. are really nice. I.e organising this family day for us! And every month. all the staff regardless of partimers/interns/small fries are called to a State-Of-Hotel meeting. I've been to 2, and both were like about celebrating something. Then talking about Budget issues. Even though im pretty sure the hotel and the Quek family (who owns the hotel) makes at least 100,000 a month. I mean our presidential suites are ALWAYS booked. and consecutively. and booking one is already like 23,000? anw. the meeting also gives out these prizes like best trainee blah blah. and people win prizes or vouchers. i swear i should win. cause im working for free and i work hard yknow. HAHA

the local staff are also like really nice to the foreigners. And omg i do have a problem with the amount of foreign "talent" there really is. China nationals and pinoys and Caucasians. I fear i may rake in a huge comeback from this but its not me! im stating facts i swear. 

The china nationals are in laundry and dishes. basically all the things we Sgreans are not interested in getting paid for. I mean wat kind of "talent" do we need to do the dishes??!?!

The Philippino people are in service. And a STAAAGGERRING amount of philippinos!! I dont think i ever noticed just how many there are in lucky plaza or hanging around SG????? and okay service may be considered a talent because i've met with a million and one rude people my entire life but the younger generation of Sgreans are like really nice people. and maybe its gotta do with age like when you're 70 you're naturally grumpy and when you like in your 20s and carefree you're nice. when you're a teen, its awfully rebel ttm. idk but seriously? the whole propaganda about LKY being smart cause bringing in FT made Sg wat it is today. I totally believe it and respect and admire him but theres a limit to foreign friendly frickin affairs?

and the Caucasians in our hotel are overall nice tall people with a respectable amount of life gains and shit. but not all of them deserves the jobs that other sgreans can do!! They are like all in exco positions or a relatively higher position. I mean i hardly/never see any being a trainee?? and i think they sometimes get these positions basically cause they are Caucasians?? Im v familiar and aware about that dilemma and its state. but a lot of people who do it dont actually realise they do. Im not going to delve into it. but basically. these foreign talent can be SUCH JACKASSES!!?!? its like they treat the asians as slaves!! (eg. movies with the stupid chinese fella) and these asians are so nice and respectable that they dont treat them back that way. But im in support of full fairness. and i'll never let anyone treat me that way. so i mean this issue is like a really No-talk/hardly talk kinda thing in sg? People are too nice/ cant be bothered.

I know im totally ranting as i always do. but hey pictures! you can just see the pictures and ONCE AGAIN TOTALLY NOT OUT TO OFFEND. I KNOW THIS IS A SENSITIVE ISSUE BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE PET PEEVES YOU'RE NOT HUMAN AND IM JUST TRYING TO LURRVVEEE MY COUNTRY.

So, I just watched Letters to Juliet and am now a squealing little girl in love.
WHY!?

because 
1, Imma sucker for sweeties. (And this movie is another romantic sweetheart that i cannot resisit. 
2. ITS A GOOD QUALITY MOVIE. and i appreciate HD. like cartoons, like UP! everything is so easy on the eyes yknow. and 
3. the movie takes place in Verona, Italy. Prolly one of the most beautiful places Ive seen portrayed on screen. And is famous. for..... wait for it... Romeo and Juliet. Apparently Shakespeare was inspired by it (as explains, the house of Juliet) ? So, everything makes sense in this movie. And im grateful for the details. and the thoughtfulness. And that hot and handsome guy! Chris egan!


anyway so like a lot of people i know believe in true love. or say they do. but dont actually. or would like to. but cant because of how abstract it may seem and how far away we all are from it sometimes. and well Romeo and Juliet is like one of the most famous examples of true love. And i know in this day and age we're all like "oh he died for her, she died for him how tragic"  or would never even give another thought to that 'stupid' story with leonardo dicaprio and the fish tank. I think its over-rated too. But i realise its far deeper than that... maybe.


anyways after the show i was looking for my blog to post about this cause i couldnt remember if my URL was suanne.e or suanne-e. So i googled Suanne. and to my surprise!
