SO. HALLOWEEN UPDATE.
this is going to be a very picture-y post. (congrats to you)  because there are quite a lot of pictures i really liked for this halloween.

The whole NOT SMILING + ALREADY SMILING JOKER=  GOOD SCARY PHOTO
i kid you not.
but honestly i likkkeeeeeee...

All my past halloween costumes have been relatively nice characters.
I was a fairy a couple times, a witch twice, an angel countless times, a spider corpse bride, a zombie and in 2010, the Joker.

For my very very first halloween. i was about 5 and my sister put a garbage bag over me. painted my nose green, gave me a mop (which was very frickin heavy as i recall) and called me a witch. And ive been celebrating halloween ever since.

For a large part of my life, it's been a family tradition. My condo's supermart gives out free goodiebags to any kid in costume. and it was just the most fun thing ever. where you get to see ALL your neighbours and their kids dressed up. And then because my sister is 10 years older than me.. when i got to 10, she wanted to celebrate at zouk with her friends. my brother and i became the only ones trick-or-treating. and now im the only one who treats halloween as the most serious as shit festive.

i love the whole joker thing. esp the lines he says like "WHY SO SERIOUS" and he tells the story about his face. i love the one with the dad. and theres also one with the mom. but i like the dad's one best. The dad comes home drunk and hes a little boy, scared. so the dad asks him why so serious? and he doesnt answer. and the dad asks again and he doesnt answer. so the dad puts a razor to his mouth and cuts his face to make him smile forever. extremely morbid. but extremely interesting
